How to split a PDF

  1. Select a PDF

Choose a PDF and a splitting mode.

  2. Define page groups

Review the page groups. Use semicolons between custom groups, such as 1-3; 4-6.

  3. Save separate copies

Create the PDF copies, then download individual files or one ZIP.

Before you save

  • Input is limited to 100 MB and 500 pages. Create up to 100 copies and 100 MB of output per run.
  • Supported annotations and page formatting are retained. Signed, encrypted, interactive-form and unvalidated tagged files are refused; splitting does not make a PDF/UA accessibility certification.

Questions about splitting PDFs

Can I save every page separately?

Yes. Choose One file per page, for up to 100 output PDFs in one run.

Can custom groups overlap?

Yes. A page may appear in different PDF copies, such as 1-3; 3-5. Duplicate page references inside one group are refused.

Do I need to allow multiple downloads?

No. You can save all completed PDF copies in one ZIP, or download individual files.
