What Happens to Your File

OxnaPDF analyses every page of your PDF locally in browser memory by checking both its selectable text character count and the percentage of non-white pixels (channel value below 245) in a rendered page bitmap.

As you move the sensitivity slider, the flagged page list updates immediately without re-scanning; you can toggle any page checkbox manually and download a new cleaned PDF copy while your original file stays untouched.

Limits

  • Accepts unencrypted PDFs up to 100 MB and 500 pages when scanning for blank pages.
  • Sensitivity adjusts from 0 (strict: flags only completely empty pages with 0 characters and under 0.001% dark pixels) to 100 (flags near-blank pages with up to 2.5% dark pixels from scanner dust or punch holes).
  • At least 1 page must remain in the document; if every page in the PDF is blank or selected for removal, export is refused.

Good to Know

  • Raise the sensitivity slider to around 40–60 when cleaning duplex scans where blank back sides have faint scanner speckles, edge shadows or staple marks.
  • Every detected page is shown with a thumbnail and checkbox before removal so a page with a short one-line note is never deleted behind your back.
  • If you already know the exact page numbers you want to cut, you can also enter them directly in Delete PDF Pages.
