What Happens to Your File

OxnaPDF embeds your source PDF pages as vector Form XObjects inside a new PDF document in browser memory, positioning 2, 4 or 6 pages onto each A4 or US Letter sheet or reordering spreads for 2-up saddle-stitch booklet folding.

Because pages are placed as vector XObjects rather than rasterised bitmaps, all text and vector graphics remain sharp at any zoom level, and your original file on disk stays untouched.

Limits

  • Accepts unencrypted PDFs up to 100 MB and 500 pages.
  • Supports 2-up, 4-up and 6-up grid layouts plus 2-up saddle-stitch booklet imposition on A4 (595.28×841.89 pt) or US Letter (612×792 pt) sheets in auto, upright or wide orientation.
  • Outer sheet margins adjust from 0 pt to 120 pt and cell gutters from 0 pt to 72 pt, with optional thin cell borders or a dashed central booklet fold guide.

Good to Know

  • In Booklet mode, the tool automatically pads your document with blank pages to a multiple of 4 and pairs outer and inner spreads so you can print double-sided (flip on short edge) and fold down the middle.
  • Turn on Draw Page Borders when printing lecture slides 4-up or 6-up so each miniature slide has a neat frame on the sheet.
  • If you want to change the dimensions of single pages (1-up) rather than placing multiple pages on a sheet, use Resize Pages.
