Whatever you do to a PDF, in the desktop app or in any of the 51 online tools, the file stays on your computer. Nothing is sent anywhere unless you choose to ask an online AI a question. We never ask you to create an account, and there is no tracking and no adverts.
A PDF cannot run code inside OxnaPDF, redaction deletes the text rather than hiding it under a black box, and edits are saved as a new copy, so your original is never changed. We check every part with the security-audit method Cloudflare's own security teams use, and several AI models review the code independently.

OxnaPDF runs on our own PDF engine. We timed it against Adobe Acrobat on the same Mac, and it came out ahead on all nine measurements. Open a 500-page report and OxnaPDF has finished working after 3.1 seconds. Acrobat keeps your processor busy for 14.0 seconds.
It also takes less of your computer. OxnaPDF needs 300 MB of disk space, against 1.7 GB for Acrobat, and less memory with the same report open. When you quit, nothing is left running. Acrobat leaves a helper running and installs three background services.

Install OxnaPDF on Mac, Windows or Linux. Acrobat has no Linux app at all. Or skip the install and use any of the 51 online tools in your browser.
It also works with the AI you prefer. Ask OxnaAI free within a daily allowance, use your own ChatGPT or Claude account, or run Local AI with no internet at all. And if you already work in ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini, they can open, read and change your PDFs through OxnaPDF.

Because It Is Free, With No Catch
Adobe's free Acrobat Reader lets you view, comment on and sign PDFs. Editing text, converting to Word, making scans searchable, redacting and asking AI all need a paid Acrobat plan, at up to £296.93 a year. In OxnaPDF, all of it is free.
It can be free because it costs very little to run. There is no large team to pay, the PDF engine is our own so there are no licence fees, and AI on your own account or computer costs us nothing. Dr Fatih Kansoy runs OxnaPDF through his company, Kansoy Ltd, which pays for the hosting and does not seek to make money from it.
